Mehmet Oz’s new show “Dr. Oz” has been cleared in 40% of the country for its premiere next fall, Broadcasting & Cable reports. The show stars Dr. Oz, a regular on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” and marks the latest Harpo production since launching Rachael Ray’s show. Sony Pictures TV is co-producing the series with Harpo in addition to serving as distributor, the trade says. Among the markets cleared for broadcast are New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.
