VH1 Goes Hip Hop for ‘Honors’

VH1 will be premiering two new hip-hop-themed shows to coincide with its fifth annual “VH1 Hip-Hop Honors,” Billboard reports. “100 Greatest Hip-Hop Songs” and “VH1 Rock Doc: NWA: The World’s Most Dangerous Group” will premiere Sept. 29 and Oct. 3, respectively. “Greatest Hip-Hop Songs” will air in five installments with interviews featuring Public Enemy, LL Cool J, Run DMC, Salt-N-Pepa, Outkast and Eminem, among others. Chris Rock will narrate “The World’s Most Dangerous Group” with Lil’ Wayne, De La Soul, Ghostface Killah and other artists adding commentary.
