Palin Outweighed McCain in RNC Coverage, Study Says

The Project for Excellence in Journalism, in its analysis of campaign coverage for the first week of September, which included the Republican National Convention, vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin got more press than her running mate, John McCain. Broadcasting & Cable is reporting Palin was a “significant or dominant” factor for 60% of the week’s news coverage of the campaign, compared to McCain’s 52%.
