Wilmington’s Got Programming Issues

Sep 9, 2008  •  Post A Comment

Most Wilmington, N.C., residents were aware of Monday’s digital conversion and well equipped for it, but many did not know how to adjust their equipment during the transition, Multichannel News reports. The majority of calls from viewers with problems did not stem from lack of awareness or equipment, but from programming issues. The call center, manned by 11 communications majors from nearby Elon University, received 130 requests after the noon switch, with the majority of them receiving help about adjusting the direction of their antennas or programming their signal converter boxes.
