A deal between Viacom’s Country Music Television and News Corp.’s 20th Century Fox will send a couple from the cable network’s “My Big Redneck Wedding” to the Hollywood premiere of the romantic comedy feature film “Bride Wars,” Brandweek reports. Viewers at home vote to see which couple gets the honeymoon in Los Angeles. The joint venture between Viacom and News Corp. is part of a trend of both companies using their assets to create a thematic connection. “Customization is key, as is coming up with creative, seamless ways to align the two,” the magazine says.
