Kerry Knott, a Republican who heads Comcast’s Washington, D.C., offices, has stepped down, Multichannel News reports. Knott, who will become a “strategic counsel” for the cable company and a consultant to the National Cable & Telecommunications Association, departs less than a week before Democrats may for the first time in more than a decade take control of both houses of Congress and the White House, Multichannel News says. Also, senior VP of corporate Affairs David Krone has left Comcast, the paper says.
