Financial Crisis Boosts Orman

As one of the best-known financial advisors, CNBC host Suze Orman is in great demand at a time when most people have questions about how to ride out a challenging economy, the Wall Street Journal reports. In addition to appearing on TV shows, Ms. Orman has become a commercial spokeswoman for milk and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. Her success has inevitably led to criticism by rivals. Suzanne Muusers, a business coach in Scottsdale, Ariz., in a recent blog post, called Orman one of the “fear mongers who live off selling magazines and television shows that spew irresponsible viewpoints.”
