IFC, Sundance Get Separate Scripts

Cablevision Systems Co. is looking to divide and conquer the indie-film audience by aiming its IFC and Sundance channels at different demographics, the Wall Street Journal reports. The company recently completed its purchase of Sundance Channel and will focus the network’s programming on “older thought leaders.” IFC will try to appeal more to younger male audiences, the newspaper says.
