This week marks the unveiling of the second incarnation of Web-TV service Joost, Advertising Age reports. Because of the popularity of easier-to-use video Web sites like YouTube and Hulu, the new version is Web-based and doesn’t require the software download of its predecessor. Also among the new version’s features are commenting and a “JoostFeed,” which allows users to keep track of what their friends are watching.
