Beginning in November, LIN TV will test interactive TV technology that allows viewers to link to the Internet from what they see on TV, MediaWeek reports. A select group of viewers and advertisers in Hartford, Conn., will participate in Backchannelmedia’s TV-to-Internet click-through market trial. During the trial, viewers will be able to bookmark content on TV for forwarding to a personal Web site. LIN stations WTNH-TV and WCTX-TV, the market’s ABC and MyNetworkTV affiliates, respectively, will participate.
