San Antonio Fracas for Time Warner Cable

Oct 10, 2008  •  Post A Comment

Time Warner Cable is facing another retransmission-consent dispute as it enters its second week in a similar fight with LIN TV, Multichannel News reports. The cable company and LIN TV are still negotiating a new retransmission-consent deal, but 15 LIN TV stations are black on cable in 11 East Coast and Midwest markets. The latest dispute involves San Antonio ABC affiliate KSAT-TV, owned by Post-Newsweek Stations. The deal between the two is set to expire Oct. 15 and the two companies have yet to reach a new deal, Multichannel says.
