New York-based Vesuvio Import Company and HBO are introducing Sopranos Wines based on the seminal New Jersey mobster series, Reuters reports. The line of Italian wines, which includes a Chianti DOCG, a Pinot Grigiot and a Pinot Noir, will be launched in the United States this fall. Vesuvio, which is named after the fictional restaurant depicted in the series, was created to develop the line. “The Sopranos” ran for six seasons on HBO until its finale in June 2007.
