NBC Universal’s Telemundo has inked a deal with Mexican media giant Televisa, Daily Variety reports. Televisa will distribute Telemundo’s original content via its digital and wireless platforms in Mexico, Variety says. The digital platform partnership is just another in a series of deals between the two entities. In September, Telemundo acquired the U.S. broadcast rights from Televisa for all the soccer matches played at the home stadiums of Mexico’s top soccer leagues, Variety says.
