Spike TV has ordered a two-hour drama pilot about Boston’s Irish mob from executive producers Dana White and Tom Lynch and director Walter Hill, the Hollywood Reporter says. The untitled project, to be produced by MGM Television Entertainment, will center on the explosive fallout when a Boston mob boss steps down from his position, the Reporter says. The pilot marks the first scripted project for White, who currently serves as Ultimate Fighting Championship’s president and host of Spike’s “”The Ultimate Fighter.”
