Sci Fi’s ‘Sanctuary’ Posts Strong Debut

Sci Fi Channel’s new original series “Sanctuary” debuted to huge ratings Friday evening, Multichannel News reports. The two-hour series premiere pulled in 2.7 million total viewers, according to Sci Fi, making it the top prime-time basic cable entertainment program among adults ages 25-54, Multichannel says. The show, which stars Amanda Tapping, helped the network finish in second place among adults 18-49 among basic-cable nets in prime time for Oct. 3, Sci Fi Channel reported.
