Canoe Shares Plans at CTAM

Canoe Ventures, a consortium of cable companies that includes Time Warner Cable, Cox Communications, Charter Communications, Cablevision Systems and Bright House Networks, paid a visit to the CTAM Summit in Boston, Broadcasting & Cable reports. Canoe Ventures told attendees it plans on bringing ad-targeting and measurability found on the Web to cable TV. “We don’t want it to be ‘just like the Internet.’ We want it to be better and different,”said Canoe Ventures chief marketing officer Vicki Lins.
