Dish Network’s new DTV-to-analog convertor box with DVR functionality will be available for pre-orders beginning Nov. 19, Broadcasting & Cable reports. The box can be purchased beginning in mid-December. The DTVPal DVR sells at $299 and will come with a $50 rebate. The government subsidy for DTV convertors can’t be applied to the box because of the added DVR function.
