New public service announcements geared toward informing minority households about the upcoming national digital switchover are being promoted by the nation’s top cable operators, Multichannel News reports. The PSAs feature 21 members of the Congressional Asian Pacific Caucus, Black Caucus and Hispanic Caucus. Nielsen Media Research found in July that multicultural audiences, especially African American and Hispanic households, are the most unprepared for the Feb. 17 switch.
