According to the Government Accounting Office, President-elect Barack Obama should make February’s national digital TV transition a top priority for his administration, Broadcasting & Cable reports. Along with rebuilding the military and improving the country’s international image, the federal office considers the transition to digital TV event a critical and time-sensitive issue. The GAO’s list of such issues for the new administration can be found in the presidential transition section of the GAO Web site, B&C says.
