MSNBC’s Dan Abrams will make a cameo as himself in a new film that lifts heavily from the Valerie Plame-Judith Miller saga titled “Nothing But the Truth,” Portfolio reports. Abrams joins an all-star cast that includes Kate Beckinsale, Matt Dillon, Alan Alda, Angela Bassett and Noah Wyle in the fictionalized take on the news story. Abrams’ father, esteemed First Amendment attorney Floyd Abrams, has an extensive role in the film, the Web site says. About his role, Abrams says, “Let’s just say that at one point Matt Dillon exclaims, ‘Turn that guy off!’”
