The broadcast-Internet hybrid TV service Sezmi has laid off 20% of its 100-person workforce, Multichannel News reports. Sezmi is a venture-funded startup founded two years ago, counting Morgenthaler Ventures, Omni Capital Group, Index Ventures, TD Fund and Legend Ventures as investors, B&C says. Sezmi still expects to launch its service during the first half of next year.
