Boston’s local Fox affiliate WFXT may make its DTV switch early due to a malfunctioning analog antenna that may not be in service through the Feb. 17 transition, the Boston Globe reports. The damaged antenna has already cut off the signals to some viewers and the station has received about 150 complaints, the newspaper says. Rather than work with the faulty analog antenna, WFXT General Manager Gregg Kelley said the station may “just turn it off early” and go to digital, the Globe says.
