CBS is prepping the relaunch of its recently acquired Web property TV.com and is shaping it as a destination that will go “beyond Hulu,” PaidContent reports. While in the past the site has served as a “digital water-cooler,” CBS plans to incorporate a Web-video component into the new site; however, TV.com will be more of a TV fan community than NBC Universal’s-News Corp.’s Hulu Web video site, PaidContent reports. While the relaunch has been slated for January, some of the changes to the site may begin as early as this week, the site says.
