CBS, Time Warner Consider Joint Bid for Olympics

Dec 17, 2008  •  Post A Comment

CBS and Time Warner are considering placing a joint bid for the rights to air the 2014 and 2016 Olympic Games, the Associated Press reports. A deal between the two media companies and a winning bid could bring the Games to such networks as CBS, TNT, TBS and possibly CNN, the news service says. Bidding for the rights to air both Games will not open until the International Olympic Committee decides on a host city for 2016, for which Chicago is being considered, the AP says.
