Hulu: The Happiest Video Place Online

Hulu CEO Jason Kilar said he looks to his experience working for Disney’s theme parks when thinking about the growth and expansion of the NBC Universal-News Corp. joint Web video site, MediaPost reports. Kilar tells the publication in a Q&A that the site engineers “obsess about the layout of Hulu” in “the same way Disney street sweepers sweat over every square inch of their parks.” The site has grown to become the sixth-most-viewed Web video site online, but Kilar said the site’s initial $100 million-plus capital is enough to keep it “all good,” according to MediaPost.
