Online Video Consumption Strongest During Daytime

About 65% of online video viewers said they watched at least one clip during the month of October during regular work hours—Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.—AdWeek reports, citing new data from Nielsen Online. Of those surveyed, 51% said they watched at least one piece of content on weekends between 6 a.m and 8 p.m. and 49% watched on a weekday from 5 to 8 p.m., the trade says. The rise of online video consumption during daytime hours can be traced in part to the fact that 96% of those people have broadband Internet access at work, AdWeek adds.
