States, D.C. Prep for Largest Analog Shutoff Test Yet

Stations in Washington, D.C., and 29 other states are gearing up for the largest analog shutoff test yet on Dec. 17, Broadcasting & Cable reports. National Association of Broadcasters Senior Director of Media Relations Shermaze Ingram said more stations are expected to join in the soft test, which will simulate shutting off analog signals and provide informational messages and phone numbers to analog viewers, the trade says.
