Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly’s Sony-based television production company, Timberman/Beverly Productions, has set up most of its eight projects at cable networks, the Hollywood Reporter says. Timberman said working on cable allows them to think of projects they wouldn’t have considered for broadcast. For FX, they are working on an unnamed Elmore Leonard drama and “Hit Man,” based on Lawrence Block’s book trilogy about a lonely hit man.
