Yahoo Inc. will let go 1,500 employees on Wednesday, the New York Times reports, citing unnamed sources familiar with the situation. The speculation comes after the company announced in October that it would execute a round of layoffs by the end of the year, the newspaper says. The National Football League also announced it will cut 150 jobs in the next 60 days, affecting its New York headquarters, NFL Films, NFL.com and the NFL Network, MarketWatch reports.
