Cable operators and phone companies are open to giving customers discounts, opting to hold onto them even if it means less revenue, the Wall Street Journal reports. Time Warner Cable is receptive to price breaks, a spokesman said. “The key is to hang on to every possible customer right now,” spokesman Alex Dudley told the newspaper.
