Walt Disney cut 400 jobs at its ABC television division, or about 4% of the division’s workforce, with ABC News accounting for 100 of the positions that were either cut or not replaced after prior staff departures, Daily Variety says. About half of the 400 cuts will be from current job eliminations while the other half will be from not filling positions that had been planned to be filled, the newspaper reports.
