Two shows as good as anything on pay cable return this month on basic-cable network FX, “Nip/Tuck” and “Damages,” the Kansas City Star notes. “And they won’t cost you an extra $10 on top of the $100 you’re already shoveling at the cable company,” the paper adds. The New York Times also takes a look at “Damages” and features an interview with William Hurt, who takes a rare TV role on the show.
