HBO Wins Big at Golden Globes

HBO came out as the big winner among television networks at Sunday night’s presentation of the 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards, taking home seven out of the 11 prizes in the TV categories, TelevisionWeek reports. Hollywood was eager to shrug off the economy’s woes and a possible actors’ strike, the New York Times says. While still not the Oscars, the Globes has its charms, the Los Angeles Times says. Where else can viewers watch a television star such as Ricky Gervais walk out on stage, take a sip of beer and tell the audience: “Shush. How rude are you lot? Just because you’re a bunch of famous film stars . . . ”

  1. I’ll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)
