The National Association of Broadcasters’ president David Rehr sent a letter to Congress and the FCC outlining some suggestions that can be taken to help get DTV converter-box coupons to more consumers, Broadcasting & Cable reports. Among Rehr’s suggestions are raising redemption rate assumption, increasing funding, waiving voucher expiration dates and eliminating the Antideficiency Act, which is keeping unused money from unredeemed vouchers locked up, the trade says.
