President Barack Obama will sign the bill that pushes back the transition to digital-television broadcasting from analog, according to press secretary Robert Gibbs, the Associated Press reports. Gibbs said the president will sign the bill because he wants to give consumers more time to prepare for the transition, which is slated to occur Feb. 17 without the delay, the news agency reports.
