CBS-owned TV.com more than tripled its unique viewers in January, according to Nielsen VideoCensus, MediaPost reports. CBS is adding social-networking features to the site to better compete with the NBC and News Corp. joint venture Hulu.com, the trade publication says. In the next year, Hulu.com will be searching a way to fend off competition from ventures such as TV.com and extending its franchise beyond exclusive “Saturday Night Live” clips, Advertising Age reports.
