Feb 25, 2009  •  Post A Comment

Fox News Channel and MSNBC have boosted their ratings on coverage of the economic downturn while CNN’s audience has shrunk, the Los Angeles Times reports, citing Nielsen Media Research. For the four weeks ended Feb. 22, Fox’s and MSNBC’s audiences grew more than 20% from a year earlier, while CNN’s ratings fell 30%, the newspaper says.

  1. Maybe this is because of CNN’s dull self-promoting bottom-page news feed being nothing but links to its on-line stories; MSNBC & FOX are still scrolling other news at the bottom of their screens while covering the economic downturn.
