Reps. Joe Barton, R-Texas, and Cliff Stearns, R.-Fla., ranking members of the House Energy & Commerce and Communications, Tech and Internet Subcommittee, have asked the FCC and NTIA to put analog-only homes at the top of the waiting list for the DTV-to-converter box coupons, Multichannel News reports. In a letter, they asked the NTIA to revise its rules so that analog-only homes would get bumped ahead of houses with cable and satellite, the publication says.
