FCC, House Deny Fairness Doctrine Meeting

The FCC and a representative of the House Energy & Commerce Committee denied that staffers of the FCC and House Energy & Commerce Committee Chairman Henry Waxman, D-Calif., met last week about reviving the Fairness Doctrine, Broadcasting & Cable reports. A blogger writing under the name “Prowler” for the Spectator had reported such a meeting, the publication says.
