Lifetime has signed Rosie O’Donnell to star in its original movie “America,” based on E.R. Frank’s book of the same name, Multichannel News reports. The show will air Feb. 28 and follows a 17-year old who navigates the foster-care system, while O’Donnell plays a therapist who helps him, the publication says.
