The Television Bureau of Advertising is considering re-evaluating again its forecast for 2009, Broadcasting & Cable reports. The organization already re-evaluated previous figures in November after the economy began taking a turn for the worse, the trade says. Initial forecasts in September predicted local ad spots would remain flat and national ones would drop 7%-11%; then the November recalculations predicted a 4%-8% drop in local spots and a 12%-16% decrease for national ads, B&C notes. According to TVB President Chris Rohrs, “It looks worse,” B&C adds.
