NPR, Fox in Commentator Fix

National Public Radio has asked Fox News Channel to stop identifying Juan Williams, the commentator the two networks share, as an NPR commentator, after some NPR listeners were angered by Williams’ comments on Fox’s “The O’Reilly Factor” about first lady Michelle Obama, the Hollywood Reporter says. Williams said Michelle Obama has “got this Stokely Carmichael in a designer dress thing going,” a reference to the former Black Panther who coined the term “Black Power,” the trade paper reports. Because Williams is a contract analyst for NPR, and no longer an employee, it can’t keep him from appearing on Fox, the Reporter says.

  1. Juan Williams has no self respect, no guts or pride. I didn’t see the comments that you attributed to Juan Williams, but while watching this guy across the years, I will certify him as a bigot against Black people and a tool for his master. I am Black, American and proud.
Juan Williams is the same guy that didn’t think the Rev. Jessie Jackson had the right to run for President of the United States. Juan williams is a washed up joke, and he is an embarrassment to Black people.
