Time Warner said that it lost $16 billion in the fourth quarter because of huge write down on the value of some of its intangible assets, MarketWatch reports. Time Warner’s Networks segment, which includes Turner Broadcasting and HBO, had higher subscription and advertising revenues, but suffered a loss because of a $270 million charge to cover a court judgement involving the sale of its basketball and hockey teams.
