‘Big Love’ Ceremony Stirs Controversy

An upcoming episode of HBO’s “Big Love” depicting a sacred Church of Latter-Day Saints ceremony is drawing criticism from some of the faith’s followers, the Salt Lake Tribune reports. The show’s March 15 episode will feature an endowment ceremony never before shown on TV and previously witnessed only by members in good standing of the LDS, the site says. While some church members criticize “the insensitivities of writers, producers and TV executives,” “Love” creators Mark V. Olsen and Will Scheffer conducted extensive research to portray the ceremonies “accurately,” the Tribune says.

  1. The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.
