An HBO special on animal cruelty in factory farming has U.S. pork producers worried, Reuters reports. The network plans to debut the special, called “Death on a Factory Farm,” on March 16, with 20 airings by April 1, the news agency says. Some pork producers don’t adhere to the industry’s best practices, “and sometimes we shoot ourselves in the foot,” National Pork Board president Steve Weaver told attendees at the Pork Industry Forum on Thursday, Reuters says.
