Hearst Entertainment & Syndication has hired George Kliavkoff as executive VP and deputy group head, MediaWeek reports. Kliavkoff most recently was chief digital officer for NBC Universal, the magazine reports. Kliavkoff left NBC Universal last year after helping with the creation of Hulu, and was expected to begin an entrepreneurial endeavor, MediaWeek says.
