The Major League Baseball Network, which started in January, appears to have the makings of a successful enterprise, with executives saying it’s on target to meet first-quarter ad revenue projections, the New York Times reports. “I think MLB Network has all the ingredients for success,” Starcom media director Sam Sussman tells the newspaper.
