National Association of Broadcasters President-CEO David K. Rehr said last month’s DTV switch for those stations that made the jump was a “success,” TVNewsday reports. Rehr testified before the FCC in an open meeting where he said, “Viewer confusion and calls were relatively low,” with “national awareness at 97% among all television households,” the site says. He also said one of the major challenges ahead will be “rebranding the June 12 date,” the new government-mandated shutoff date for analog broadcasting, TVNewsday says.
