New Jersey’s attorney general has sued Verizon Communications over alleged “deceptive” marketing practices for its FiOS services, Multichannel News reports. The state charges that the company didn’t provide promotional gifts such as flat-screen HDTVs when consumers signed up for the service and that Verizon charged higher prices than those advertised, the publication reports. Verizon New Jersey president Dennis Bone said the issues “have been largely addressed,” Multichannel reports.
