Turner Networks’ TNT has begun a plan to get the same ad rates as broadcast networks, Daily Variety reports. Steve Koonin, a former Coca-Cola marketing executive, plans to tell advertisers during its upfront presentation that TNT is more similar to a broadcast network than other cable networks, the trade paper says.
